Gasland 2010

June 21, 2016

On June 21 2010, GASLAND debuted on HBO. That night helped fracking become a household word. Thousands of people attended house party screenings and got their communities active on opposing fracking.

At that time there were very few peered reviewed papers on fracking, but there were citizens speaking out about how fracking had contaminated their water, polluted their air and fractured their communities. People spoke out and millions listened.

6 years later we have over 600 peer reviewed studies proving fracking is a threat to the health and safety of the public and the planet. And the movement to ban fracking is one of the fastest growing environmental movements of all time.

On June 27 2016, Josh’s new film HOW TO LET GO OF THE WORLD AND LOVE ALL THE THINGS CLIMATE CAN’T CHANGE will debut on HBO.

Will you bring your community together for a LET GO AND LOVE House Party Screening on June 27?

We live in a time when science is telling us we need to keep 80% of known fossil fuels in the ground and the world’s most vulnerable citizens are already being impacted by climate change, yet the fossil fuel industry is still expanding.

We need a climate revolution.

Sign up to host a LET GO AND LOVE House Party screening with live video chat from Josh Fox about the climate revolution.

6 years ago GASLAND changed the game on fracking, but that only happened because people watched it with their communities and took action.

HOW TO LET GO can be a game changer on climate, but only if you watch this film with your friends and family. Climate activism is a team sport.
